The NFL’s Thickest Necks.
This Slate photo essay on the NFL’s thickest necks is kinda disturbing, but also fascinating. Is it a nature or nurture thing here? - did these guys have big necks anyway, and therefor were suited to the sport, or did the sport enhance the neck? Eitherway, I remember when I used to be able to fit into skinny jeans before I started cycling. As for fencing, apart from the inexplicable urge to challenge people to duels for no reason at all - I have no idea what the physical implications of that particular sport are… yet.
